Congregational Retreat 2010 :
Ancient Wisdom/Modern
Times
Join your church family on April 23-25, 2010,
as our
congregation returns to Montreat, NC for the annual church retreat.
This year's theme, "Ancient Wosdom/Modern Times" will examine the
gift of our biblical text to our modern lives. With Todd
Hobbie leading our adult study, we will explore the ancient words to
find fresh meaning for our times. In addition, Children's and
youth programs will be provided.
Each year the retreat is one of the
highlights of the congregation's life together. Deep
conversations, meaningful discussions, heartfelt prayer and worship,
as well as a ton of good fun are all components of the retreat--and
of course, we hope you, even if you have never been on the retreat
before, will be part of that mix as well.
Brochures and sign-up forms are
available now! Each family of the church should have received
one of these forms in the mail, and they will also be available the
next several Sundays after worship on the Information Table in
